IDENTIFICATION DATA: In compliance with the duty of information laid down in Article 10 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, the following data is reflected below: The company that owns elpaisgeneracion-e.com (hereinafter, the Site) is  EDICIONES EL PAÍS S.L.U  address at St.  Calle Miguel Yuste 40, with Vat number: B85635910 entity registered in the Mercantile Registry of Madrid in Volume 30.974, Folio 102, Section, Sheet  M-476760, Registration 1ª (hereinafter, the Entity).

1. USERS: Access and/or use of the Entity's portals confers the status of USER, who accepts, from such access and/or use, the General Conditions of Use reflected herein. The aforementioned Conditions will be applicable regardless of the General Conditions of Contract that may be mandatory. 

2. USE OF THE PORTAL: The Entity's Site provides access to a multitude of information, services, programs or data (hereinafter, "the Contents") on the Internet belonging to the Entity or its licensors, to which the USER may have access. The USER assumes responsibility for the use of the Site. This responsibility extends to the registration that is necessary to access certain services or Content. In said registration, the USER will be responsible for providing truthful and lawful information. As a result of this registration, the USER may be provided with a password for which will be responsible, undertaking to make diligent and confidential use of it. The USER undertakes to make appropriate use of the Content and services (such as chat services, discussion forums or news groups) that the Entity offers through its Site and, including but not limited to, not to use them to (i) engage in unlawful, illegal activities or activities contrary to good faith and public order; (ii) disseminating content or propaganda of a racist, xenophobic, pornographic-illegal nature, advocating terrorism or infringing human rights; (iii) cause damage to the physical and logical systems of the Entity, its suppliers or third parties, introduce or disseminate computer viruses or any other physical or logical systems that are likely to cause the aforementioned damage on the network; (iv) attempt to access and, where appropriate, use the email accounts of other users and modify or manipulate their messages. The Entity reserves the right to remove all comments and contributions that violate respect for the dignity of the person, that are discriminatory, xenophobic, racist, pornographic, that threaten youth or childhood, public order or security or that, in its opinion, are not suitable for publication. In any case, the Entity will not be responsible for the opinions expressed by users through forums, chats, or other participation tools. 

4. INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY: the Entity, by itself  or as an assignee, is the owner of all the intellectual and industrial property rights of its web pages, as well as of the elements contained therein (including but not limited to, images, sound, audio, video, software or texts; trademarks or logos, colour combinations, structure and design, selection of materials used, etc.).  computer programs necessary for their operation, access and use, etc.), owned by the Entity or its licensors. The USER undertakes to respect the Intellectual and Industrial Property rights owned by the Entity. You may view the elements of the Site and even print, copy and store them on your computer's hard drive or on any other physical medium as long as it is solely and exclusively for your personal and private use. The USER must refrain from deleting, altering, evading or manipulating any protection device or security system that is installed on the Entity's pages. 

5. EXCLUSION OF GUARANTEES AND LIABILITY: The Entity is not responsible, under any circumstances, for damages of any nature that may be caused, by way of example: errors or omissions in the contents, lack of availability of the portal or the transmission of viruses or malicious or harmful programs in the contents, despite having adopted all the necessary technological measures to avoid it.

6. MODIFICATIONS: The Entity reserves the right to make any modifications it deems appropriate to its Site without prior notice, and may change, delete or add both the content and services provided through it and the way in which they are presented or located on its Site.

7. USE OF COOKIES: The Entity may use cookies to personalise and facilitate the USER's browsing of its Site as much as possible. These are, therefore, cookies of a technical nature that allow the USER to browse and do not require their prior consent. 10. GENERALITIES: The Entity will prosecute the breach of these conditions as well as any improper use of its Site by exercising all civil and criminal actions that may correspond to it by law.

11. MODIFICATION OF THESE CONDITIONS AND DURATION: The Entity may modify the conditions determined herein at any time, being duly published as they appear herein. The validity of the aforementioned conditions will depend on their exposure and will be in force until they are modified by others duly published.
